Overview

Yunam peak is located near Baralacha La Pass on border of Himachal & J&K. The Yunam peak expedition base camp is just few kilometers from Baralacha La Pass on Manali Leh highway. Yunam peak offers an opportunity to reach 6110 Mts. without need of technical skill except the physical fitness and grit determination.. It also offers majestic views of the peaks of Chandra Bhaga and Mulkilla range.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01, – Arrival in Manali

1. The team will be taken to a beautiful hill resort where they can relax and refresh themselves.

2. Cultural sight-seeing of major vantage points in and around Manali.

Hidimba Temple – dedicated to Goddess Hidimbi who is the patron Goddess of manali.

Vashisht Temple – dedicated to Vashisht Muni (saint), one of the seven sapta rishis of Hindu culture.

3. Evening shopping in Manali

4. Team meeting in the evening where te trekkers will be briefed on the route, terrain, what to pack, etc.

Day 02, Drive to Jispa via Rohtang Pass
We will start early morning today and drive from Manali and cross Rohtang pass and pass the town of Keylong on the way to Jispa. The Lahaul terrain will be devoid of greenery.

Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Jispa. Evening acclimatization walk in Jispa. Jispa is located at an altitude of 3200 m (10500 ft)

Day 03, Drive to Bhartpur road head
Trek from Bharatpur road head to base camp. The base camp is at an altitude of 4500 m. Acclamitazion at base camp
Day 04, Acclimatization climb and load ferry to summit camp
Returning to base camp
Day 05, Establishing Summit camp
Climbing up to Summit camp and establishing summit camp
Day 06, Summit day
We will start climbing to summit from 3 AM. Return to summit camp.
Day 07, Climb down to Bharatpur and drive to Jispa. Camp fire at Jispa
Climb down to Bharatpur and drive to Jispa. Camp fire at Jispa
Day 08, Drive to Manali
Drive to Manali
Other Information ​

Day 1 in Manali – Stay will be in hotel rooms

Day 2 in Jispa –  Stay will be in dormitory

Day 3 onwards – Stay will be in tents

COMMERCIALS

Budget Segment – ₹ 30000/- per person for a maximum of 4 people (Inclusive of tax)

For Individuals – ₹ 35000/- Per Head

In the budget segment, the clients will depart directly for the trek on Day 1 and will return to Manali on Day 8  Departure.
