Sangchar is an idyllic himalayan village, passing through the village gives you a feeling of time having stopped steeped in tradition dating 1000 of years, the denizens of Sangchar are farmers and shepherds... Sangchar is also the starting point of a trek to a very small but mysterious lake at an altitude of 13000 ft-The Sarkundi Lake.
